The impressive and elegant closer looked down interweaved canopy lowland riverine and groundwater forest patch similar with tropical rain forest situated in southeastern out of its Somali Masala biome region in Rift valleys and  across distant viewed Bonkie hill, Arfayiedie, Geda mixed shrub and grass-covered is typical savannah volcanic uplands and Abya and Chamo lake from Arbaminch.

It is surprising to see such a dense and large as 67.1 km square of natural forest in the heart of the Great Rift Valley. Moreover, the bio-diversity composition of the forest is another interesting feature of it. Indigenous trees that are hunted and exterminated in different parts of the country still exist in the forest like prunes Africana (Tekur enchet), Cordina Africana (Wanza), Adolfi Fredrick (Kerero), Ficus Vasta (Warka) with long and staggered lianas (Harege) hanging over it. Associated with wild animals, like Baboon, Columbus monkey and birds with the voice they create and make it very impressive.
