It is the narrow ridge of land that divides Abaya and Chamo lakes. There are commanding panoramic views all around, including both lakes , Nechsar plains Amaro mountains and the Gugei range of Ganta Mountains. Gods Bridge joints the Western Nechsar plain with Arbaminch town. It is the “Ecotone” mixed wooded and grasslands ecosystem of the park in which both ecosystem-associated flora and fauna species exist. This outstanding beauty of the neck of land between the two lakes has earned it the sobriquet of the bridge of heaven.
